Manquel Bastion

Home to: Seven, Jaxzo'Ilan, Fridtjof, Silent Wind, Red, Mundy, Fahrländer (7/18)

Residential benefits, with one benefit given out at each PC's 1st Session a Month: 10% Wealth Increase, 3d12 Rations, A Healing Word Token, Add Any Weapon to Inventory, Add Any Armor to Inventory

Located in Manquel, based on a small garrison destroyed by a Blowt that was called there the night before, and handed over to the heroes looking for some semblance of lasting shelter.

Basic Facilities

  • 1 Cramped Bedroom (Sleeps 1)
  • 1 Cramped Storage (Sleeps 1)
  • 1 Roomy Bedroom (Sleeps 1)
  • 1 Roomy Kitchen (Sleeps 1)

Facility: Storehouse

The Storehouse gives all Manquel Bastion members the option for +10% gold at the top of their first session each month.

Facility: Garden

The Manquel Garden produces ~100 rations of food every month.

Facility: Barracks

  • Hirelings: 3 Bastion Defenders
  • Defectors: 3 Balabag Archers

Facility: Armory

  • Hirelings: 1 Storeman

The Manquel Armory is stocked with armor, shields, weapons, and ammunition. While this facility is intact, players can choose from any of the game's armors to start their session with, including more exotic armors such as Grand Plate. Armors granted in this way are assumed to have been returned to the communal stock at the end of the session, and cannot be sold.

Bastion Defenders all gain an AC of 18.

Facility: Sanctuary

  • Hirelings: 1 Cleric

The Manquel Sanctuary grants its inhabitants the option to cast a Healing Word that heals 2d6+Heal HP from a distance equal to their level * 10 feet.

Druidic Foci and Holy Symbols can also be generated at this bastion for free at the top of the session.

Ravel Bastion

Home to: Cavii Kero, Alphone, Takeshi, Tessa (4/22)

Located in Ravel and based on a small cafe which was formerly Cavii Kero's home and base of operation: Cavii's Colloquy and Cafe (The 3C, for short).

Benefits at the Top of 1st Session a Month: 10% Wealth Increase, 3d12 Rations, 1d6 Wendigo Antidotes, Auto Succeed a Research Check

Basic Facilities

  • 1 Roomy Bedroom (Sleeps 9)
  • 1 Roomy Kitchen (Sleeps 1)

Facility: Library

(Sleeps 5)

  • Currently housing a number of guests who are staying indoors to keep out of the cold.

The Ravel Garden produces ~100 rations of food every month

The Un-Ravel Bastion

Home to: Kara(?), Annabelle, Ravii, Ben (5/8)

Located in the Unravel

Benefits at the Top of 1st Session a Month: Auto Succeed a Research Check, Add Any Mundane Item to Inventory (WIP)

Basic Facilities:

  • 1 Cramped Kitchen (Sleeps 1)
  • 1 Roomy Parlor (Sleeps 1)

Facility: Library

  • Sleeps 5
  • .Grants a research token

Facility: Workshop

1/3 Downtimes Spent, 2 to go.

  • Hirelings: 3 Craftsmen.
  • Sleeps 1
  • Players can start their session with any mundane object of their choice, provided it can be reasonably crafted using any of the tools available to players in game (A list which includes: Carpenter’s Tools, Cobbler’s Tools, Glassblower’s Tools, Jeweler’s Tools, Leatherworker’s Tools, Mason’s Tools, Painter’s Tools, Potter’s Tools, Tinker’s Tools, Weaver’s Tools, Woodcarver’s Tools)
  • Anyone players in this bastion with the Artisan feat or other crafting ability can now halve the required cost and salvage of a creation, utilizing the tools and help provided by the craftsmen here.

The Davenwood Bastion

Home to: Oswald, His Parents Diane and Nickolas (3/12)

Located in Davenwood

Benefits at the Top of 1st Session a Month: 10% Gold Increase, 3d12 Rations, a Mount, or a Bouquet of Healing

Basic Facilities:

  • 2 Cramped Bedrooms (Sleep 2 each)
  • 1 Roomy Kitchen (Sleeps 2)
  • 1 Roomy Storage (Sleeps 2)

Facility: Storehouse

The Davenwood Stables allows its residence to start each session with a mount, choosing from Horse, Cow, Mule, or Pony.

Facility: Greenhouse

(Sleeps 1)

The Davenwood Greenhouse produces a Bouquet of Healing, which includes a "Fruit of Lesser Restoration" and 2 "Healing Potions",

(Alternatively, a downtime can be spent to switch this Greenhouse to growing potent poisons)

The Balabag Bastion

Home to: Yukio, Enrik (2/11)

Located in Balabag

Benefits at the Top of 1st Session a Month: +2 on All Saving Throws, +2 on Skill Checks related to one choice (Magic, Pray, Notice, Know)

Basic Facilities:

  • 2 Cramped Bedrooms (Sleep 2 each)
  • 3 Roomy Bedrooms (Sleeps 9 each)
  • 1 Roomy Kitchen (Sleeps 1)
  • 1 Roomy Dining Room (Sleeps 2)
  • 1 Cramped Storage (Sleeps 1)

Facility: 2 Roomy Meditation Chambers

(Sleeps 0)

  1. Provides +2 on 2 saving throws (Physical, Mental)
  2. Provides +2 on 2 types of saving throws (Luck, Evasion)

Facility: Roomy Archive

(Sleeps 1)

Provides +2 on Skill checks on a choice of Magic, Pray, Notice, or Know. If upgraded to Vast (or a second Archive is installed) will instead allow user to pick TWO skills.
