Dragon Costumes for Dogs are magical and cute costumes designed to be worn by man’s best friend, dogs. These costumes make your dog look cute and fierce and helped to protect dogs from the evil dragons who ravaged the realm during the War of Many Names.

When dragons attacked the realm of Quelmar during the War of Many Names, many peoples first worries were how to protect their beloved pets. A group of magical wizard tailors came together to craft a solution. They determined that the best way to protect dogs from dragons was to use dragon proof camouflage, by dressing the dogs up as dragons. They quickly began to distribute these costumes to the many dog owners of the world, and when the dogs wore them, any dragons who came attacking were only able to perceive the dogs as another dragon. But over time, the tailors discovered that these costumes were capable of even more fantastical abilities.

Rare, Clothing, Requires Attunement by a Dog
This costume when worn by a dog makes them look like a scary and adorable dragon. The costume appears to be made of simple cloth and fabrics. While wearing the costume, the dog is under the following effects:
- Any dragon who sees the dog believes the dog to be another dragon and an ally of the dragon.
- The dog gains an additional 10 feet of movement.
- The dog is immediately aware if there is a dragon within 1 mile of them.
- The dog learns to speak draconic, but cannot read it.

Dragon Costume for Cats[edit | edit source]
Many cat owners across the realm sought to use these magical costumes to protect their cats, but they found that when a cat wore the Dragon Costume for a Dog, they had a slightly different and more potent affect, giving the cat strange magical powers and a desire to hoard treats and toys, turning them into little tiny dragons in spirit.

Legendary, Clothing, Requires Attunement by a Cat
This costume when worn by a cat makes them look like a scary and adorable cat. The costume appears to be made of simple cloth and fabrics. While wearing the costume, the cat is under the following effects:
- Any dragon who sees the cat believes the dog to be an ancient dragon and a dragon to be feared.
- The cat gains a fly speed equal to its walking speed.
- The cat learns to speak draconic, but cannot read it.
- The cat gains a fear aura of 10 feet. Any humanoid creature in that aura must make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of the cat and compelled to bring the cat food and treats. After 1 hour, the humanoid can repeat the saving throw. If a humanoid succeeds on the saving throw, they are immune to the cat’s fear aura for 1 hour.
