The Saga of Abominations was a mini story arc in Book 1 of Within the Wicked Wilds, revolving around the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company discovering an entrance to The Underdark and disturbing the abomination dragon Xupaynth. This story was part of the larger saga, The Saga of Kavanmort.
Summery[edit | edit source]
Xupaynth was a young a curious dragon who once served as a thrall to the two-headed dragon, Kavanmort during the Holy War. After The War of Many Names began, they returned to Amusa and attempted to create a lair within an entrance to the Underdark. But through reasons unknown, it become corrupted and transformed into a terrifying abomination. Moving deeper into the Underdark, it began to dominate and rule over the regions inhabitants.
Xupaynth's territory would be disturbed when members of the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company discovered an entrance to the Underdark through a lost temple of Lolth. They would begin to send expeditions into the Underdark, encounter Drow scouts and monsters under Xupaynth's control. Eventually they would confront the dragon and slay it in its lair.
