Physical Appearance
Lady Luanach is a beautiful satyr woman with lavender skin and deep purple eyes. Framing her regal face is a cascade of deep violet hair streaked with silvery-white and two great, sweeping goat horns that arc from her temples. She wears a gown of midnight silk and shimmering stardust, the bodice embroidered with intricate silver filigree that echoes the constellations drifting in The Feywild sky. He walks with confidence and poise atop a pair of satyr goat legs coated in shimmering white fur.
Personality
Lady Luanach is endlessly charismatic and ambitious, almost to her own detriment. There are few she cannot rapture with her song and even less she cannot best with her wit. Though beneath her jovial and kind exterior is a truly cruel and evil woman, willing to to whatever it takes to stay on top. To her, all others are just pawns for her games and songs. She sacrificed everything to become queen and she will make sure she remains queen until the end of time. Outside her queenly duties, lady Luanach is quite studious, managing her own private alchemical lab where she experiments on the souls and spirits of mortals and fey alike, and she does not shed any tears for those who are made to suffer in her experiments.
History
Lady Luanach was once the entertainer of Madame Cosmystia Lunari, the former ruler of the Moon Court. But through careful planning Lady Luanach managed to execute a coup and overthrow Madame Lunari, taking the title of Queen for herself. She then performed terrible experiments on Lunari's daughter Luster.
Lady Luanach would go on to have two daughters. The first was Amaris, the heiress of the Moon Court. The second was Callista Luanach. But when Callista was born, Lady Luanach performed one of her most grotesque experiments. During the birth, she managed to expel Callista's soul to another plane, leaving her body an empty vessel from which Lady Luanach could harvest a rare regent called soul ichor.
Lady Luanach's experiments would continue until her work was interrupted when her daughter Amaris began freeing her experiments. To prevent any more disobediance from Amaris, Lady Luanach placed her under a powerful Geas spell.
Soon Lady Luanach's experiments began to dry the vast resources of the Moon Court, and so her eyes turned to new courts. She eventually landed on targeting the court of Wynteria, a fey court teaming with magic. She began befriending the courts leader, Eminence Aurora Allurian, but the Eminence was warry of whatever trick Lady Luanach was trying to pull, and the two entered into a fierce argument. The resulting Moon-Wynteria Discord was less about bloodshed and more a series of elaborate attempts by the courts’ Archfeys to one-up each other. One court would hold a grand celebration lasting for several days and the other would hold a celebration so grand that some participants would end up in comas, etc.
Hoping to trick Wynteria into peace with the Moon Court, Lady Luanach organized a fake attack by the rival fey court, Duskvale. This fake attack brought the two courts closer together. Pulling a few more strings, Lady Luanach brought the Moon Court and Wynteria into a full blown war with the Duskvale Court. After the war concluded, the two courts forged an alliance through the political wedding between Amaris and Eminence Allurian's daughter, Sayla Allurian.
After many months, the wedding between Amaris Luanach and Sayla Allurian commenced, though it was not safe from Lady Luanach's scheming. Once more she organized a fake attack from the Duskvale Court that struct right as the two heiresses were wed, and in the ensuing battle, Eminence Allurian was slain. Playing the role of a kind and caring mother, lady Luanach comforted the now orphaned Sayla Allurian, who with her mother's death as the new Eminence of Wynteria. With a mix of false promises and a little bit of enchantment magic, Lady Luanach managed to convince Sayla to give her stewardship of Wynteria.
During the wedding, Lady Luanach forged an alliance with the archdevil Philani of The Ten Hells where they would begin to pool their resources for their shared experiments.
After a while, Lady Luanach learned that the banished spirit of her daughter Callista had found its way into inhabiting the mortal adventurer Ronin. Intrigued at how it could be possible, Lady Luanach began to reach out to Ronin and studied them from afar.
After the wedding, Amaris, learning of her mother's treachery, cut all ties with Lady Luanach. Amaris would then pledge her spirit to the Archdevil Nuala, who was the fallen fey Queen Lady Cosmystia Lunari, the same queen Lady Luanach overthrew long ago. Agry at her daughters defiance, Lady Luanach sent her agents to kidnap both Amaris and Ronin. Knowing that her daughter was a lost cause, but that her role as heiress was to important to the court to give up, Lady Luanach concocted a plan. She would perform a ritual that would swap the spirits of Amaris with that of one of Lady Lady Luanach's loyal attendants. This would give Lady Luanach a obediant daughter and maintain the station of heiress.
But this ritual was interrupted by Amaris and her allies, including the former heiress of the court, Luster. As they fought Lady Luanach, Nuala would battle the archdevil Philani who had come to aid Lady Luanach. After a long fight, the ritual was stopped, Philani was banished, and Lady Luanach was defeated. Amaris stripped Lady Luanach of her power and station, but chose to show her mother mercy as Lady Luanach fled into the Hells, much the same as Lady Cosmystia Lunari had centuries before.
