Overview: The Party are pulled from their lives by the Archangel Gabriel and sent on a mission to find The Last Demon, rumored to be on the first layer of The Ten Hells, Duumal. To get there, the party travels through the fey planar port of The Cerulean City.
Welcome to Mt. Celestia
The party are each plucked from their everyday lives and pulled into the heavenly heights of Mt. Celestia by the Archangel Gabriel, along with his attendant the angel Melody, and Aariel the Sword of the Solar. The angels inform the party that The River Styx, the river that bound the lower planes and transported dead souls, had dried up. At the same time, all ties to The Abyss had vanished, along with every Demon in Quelmar.
Gabriel shares that has has learned that one demon may still remain though, The Last Demon, and that this fiend was last seen on the first layer of The Ten Hells, Duumal. Gabriel wishes to learn how the River Styx disappeared and who may be responsible, and he believes this demon may know the answers to his questions. In return for the party locating the last demon and learning what it knows, Gabriel promises each of the party members a divine miracle.
Across the Planes
In order to easily reach Duumal, the party utilizes a planar port, The Cerulean City, a floating city in The Feywild that contains portals that reach all across the planes. The party are shocked by the sheer amount of planar creatures in the city and work together to navigate the cities strict rules structure. Eventually, they gain permission from the city to use the portal that would take them to the Ten Hells.
