Sameera is strong headed, sarcastic, and sometimes too direct. She can find herself easily offending others when she isn't filtering her thoughts. This is driven mostly by her curiosity and willingness to ask questions. She is always looking for the fastest way out. Since being brought back to life the otherwise carefree mentality has stuttered. She struggles with trust and doesn't understand how quickly her world fell apart. She hasn't really been sleeping well since returning to the living. It makes her impatient and impulsive. |

Sameera was born in 445 PR in Balabag, the only child of the prominent Sukoru family. This family of air genasi had made a name for themselves during the Hunt for the Ancients, traveling the world in search of items of immense power. Though they never found any of these legendary artifacts, the gold they earned and the connections they forged afforded them a life of comfort, art, and leisure. Relics from their adventures littered the home in which Sameera grew up. |

Sameera was expected to follow in their footsteps—their little protégé. A future as a powerful air elementalist lay before her, or so everyone believed. But it was not meant to be. When her magic emerged, it was fire that answered her call. At first, she tried to hide it from her parents, but the more she practiced, the harder it became to deny. The fire seemed to scorch and curse her skin, consuming the light blue hues of her air ancestry and turning them to copper. |

Her father called her polluted. He locked her away and told the world that his daughter was lost. Guilt gnawed at him for years, yet he spoiled Sameera with everything except the one thing she wanted most: freedom. |

When Sameera finally came of age, her mother’s sister bargained for her release. Sameera would move to Ravel, take on a new name, and live as though she had never been part of the Sukoru family. Her father accepted the deal, seeing it as the only solution to the growing risk that Sameera would simply run away. |

Free from her father’s shame and finally out in the world, Sameera used her fire to burn murals into the streets and walls of Ravel. Then everything froze over. |

Sameera is an Air Genasi Lacer who specializes in fire-lacing and uses it to create murals in Ravel. At least she did until the The Fantasial Freeze.

Regrets and Desires
- She dreams of one day manipulating all the elements.
- Sameera is looking for an item to help her manipulate the earth element. All she has is rumors.
- Sameera also really wanted one of those pickles on a stick you can get at a festival.
- She regrets playing a part in Maynard's catastrophic choices
Appearance
Sameera is short, but what she lacks in height she makes up for with a somewhat grating personality. Her overall build is that of a willow branch—thin, lithe, and light on her feet. Her skin is a ruddy copper color that stutters and shifts under more discerning examination, similar to the way air and fire mingle at the peak of a burning campfire.
She wears a strange piece of armor, simple blue clothing, hand-embroidered with small flames at the collar and wrists. It gives nothing away regarding her status, but it is clean, and the workmanship is deliberate and careful. Her eyes are blue, ringed with a persistent edge of fatigue. Her features are soft, her smile wide and bright, when it shows up.
Her posture is nonchalant, as though she couldn’t care less about what is happening around her. It lends her an air of arrogance—one that evaporates the moment she opens her mouth.
Personality
Sameera is strong headed, sarcastic, and sometimes too direct. She can find herself easily offending others when she isn't filtering her thoughts. This is driven mostly by her curiosity and willingness to ask questions. She is always looking for the fastest way out. Since being brought back to life the otherwise carefree mentality has stuttered. She struggles with trust and doesn't understand how quickly her world fell apart. She hasn't really been sleeping well since returning to the living. It makes her impatient and impulsive.
