Project Overlord

Project Overlord was a Troverthian initiative to summon and bind Demon Lords during Realm War I. It was a step further i Troverths already expansive Demon Binding operations. The project would be overseen by the Troverthian Prince Feng Yuhan who dreamed of conquering Osugbo in the name of the empire. In his own words, after years of catching minnows, it was time to hook themselves a whale. The foundational components of Project Overlord would also be used for Project Dominion.

The project's first attempt was the summoning of the Demon Lord Yeenoghu, the demon lord that they had the most information on and whose servants they had the greatest success in summoning. The project was successful and Troverth was able to summon Yeenoghu into a demiplane between the Abyss and the Material Plane where he would be kept until they needed to use him. But from within this demiplane Yeenoghu was able to further exert his influence and spread his corruption deeper into Troverth. Yeenoghu was fully summoned during a battle against heroes sent from the city of the Delvin to destroy Project Dominion. But after being summoned, Yeenoghu was easily able to break his bonds and betray his captors, only being banished back to the Abyss after both Project Dominion and the city of Quixing were destroyed in a massive ether explosion.

The Troverthians also had plans to summon the Demon Lords Baphomet, Orcus, and the Demogorgon.
