Untitled Podcast Campaign is a campaign run by DM Tess which used the D&D 5e game system. Sessions were held in Maryland in 2016.

Two sessions of the campaign were recorded.

About[edit | edit source]

Took place on the Continent of Isonhound in 730 PR.

While a short lived experiment (Live Play podcasts weren't quite the zeitgeist they would become yet), the sessions marked several notable events for the Quelmar Realm as a whole.

  • First recorded sessions
  • First time a DM directly continued the story from another DM (with this podcast telling the story of Callum after his disappearance in Towson Tabletop)
  • First campaign set properly across Isonhound (previously SotS featured just one city of Sneerwell)

Player Characters[edit | edit source]

  • Callum the Barbed Devil
  • Bryn (pronounced Brawn) the Demigod Valkyrie (who poses as a Human Bounty Hunter)
    • Bryn was the "last of his kind"
  • Tobin the Priest (Necromancer) with zero-bedside manner.
    • "If you had the choice to walk it off or get healing, he'll probably make you walk it off"
  • Xavier the teenage island hipster Bard Dragonborn who makes Pasta
    • His buddies back home call him "Triple X"

NPCs[edit | edit source]

  • Soldier 2: One of the first Forged made explicitly for war.
  • Peter: a small deaf child who's home has been attacked by mysterious evil forces.
  • Genia: a rune-scriber who lives in Peter's village.

The Story[edit | edit source]

  • [flashback] The group's first official mission was when Bryn was asked to help a confused Callum who had popped out of nowhere through time after being displaced by Chronepsis. People were like, "Oh fuck, it's a devil," and Bryn mistook him for his bounty and started trying to kill him. Amidst the fighting, Bryn realized that he was in the wrong, and the sword was celestial.
  • On a boat from Osugbo to Isonhound, Soldier Two begins to speak about the legends of the mountains and the woods, saying that there are things lurking in the shadows, beasts of enormous size that slink silently through the branches, monsters unfathomable to the average mind whose very image could freeze the blood in your veins.
  • The legends say that these creatures take the form of everything from dragons to devils to even adventurers lost for so long they became the thing they feared most...but Soldier Two believes the quieter rumors which say these horrors are in fact the last remaining pieces of ancient deities who have lost all those who worship them to the annals of time.
  • Ominously after setting up camp in Isonhound after the boat, the team is attacked by cloaked armored figures with religious iconography. They seem to be worshipers of Mielikki
  • After setting up a night watch, they are again intruded upon by the small boy Peter who takes them back to his home town.
  • The adults of the town tell the group that 8 children are missing, taken by a massive shape looming at the edge of their town, carrying the children away in its jail-like jaws. Apparently Peter wasn't taken because he couldn't hear the beckoning of the monster.
  • The story ended there...with the team speaking to some other townsfolk (Genia, Mali the Mayor, Gertie, Gregan, Gash etc.) before dispatching into the woods...never to be seen or heard from again apparently.
