			As part of the heroes' quest to destroy the [[Tools of the Primordial Ancients]], Edna sacrificed herself by trapping her soul in the [[Crown of Empyrosis]]. She left the Galik location of The Edesian to her friends [[Blumenthal]], Soux, [[Red]], and [[Maverick]]—who displayed the disempowered tools above the bar so that Edna could watch over her tavern always.

			Blumenthal took over the Galik location's day-to-day operations and it became an occasional home for members of their original adventuring team whenever they passed through the city. They kept a [[The Sorcyst Blade\|Sorcyst Blade]] teleportation sigil carved on the floor in one of The Edesian's rooms—a remnant from when the tavern served as the team's base of operations during their realm-wide search for The Paladin—which Maverick often utilized to visit from [[Jewelspar]] with his army of wards in tow.
