Governor Solme is a vile Amnizu Devil and commander of The Bronze Citadel. He is a loyal servant of the Pit Fiend Bel.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Solme is a greasy, disgusting, fat, green devil dressed in purple fineries stained by the red sands of Duumal. He has small shriveled wings, tiny pinprick yellow eyes, and a massive maw of razor sharp teeth that stretches from ear to ear.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Solme is a gluttonous devil who delights in causing pain and misery in others. While on the surface he is charismatic and commanding, deep down, he is a sniveling coward who will do anything to survive.
History[edit | edit source]
After the Pit Fiend Bell was deposed as the ruler of Duumal, Asmodeus also revoked his position as commander of the Bronze Citadel. In Bel's place Solme rose to become the new governor of the citadel, but it wasn't long before Bel forced Solme into his service. While Solme continued to rule from the public's perspective, Bel was the true master behind the shadows.
After The River Styx dried up in 925 PR, Solme assisted Bel in organizing a militia of devils to help Bel retake Duumal. Solme began forceful conscription within the citadel and began to invite war generals from [{The Blood War]] to Bel's cause. One of these devils was the Bone Devil Ortus, who sent Solme an aasimar woman named Bella Dawn. Solme also oversaw the trade of arms and souls between the militia and the lord of Dis, Dispater. One of these transactions was the trade of the last demon to Dispater in return for a massive war machine called the Soulnaught.
Solme would be met by the planar adventurers [Aivan Clockheed Factorovich]], Aliria Servine, Nyrgoth, Sylphine Nightfall, Balaam, and Endine di Valpadana who unknowingly delivered Bella to the govenor. He would next be seen by them at the Infernal Rodeo where Bel tried to conscript the party into his services. Solme would finally confront the party when they tried to save Bella from Bel's clutches, killing Solme in the process.
