About the Department[edit | edit source]
The College of Conjuration tends to attract primarily students interested in summoning animals and druids interested in transforming into them. Accordingly, the College adapted to studying the zoology and habitats of various magical and non-magical creatures very early into its creation. Many of the College’s early classes focus on the conjuration of non-living magical objects to teach students the fundamentals of calling material from the magical aether and the caster’s own memories. Later coursework, however, often involves the conjuration of living creatures and eventually magical and extraplanar entities such as elementals. To accompany this coursework, majors are required to take supplemental coursework on both natural environments and other planes of reality to order better understand the habitats of creatures summoned from “elsewhere.”

Summoning various farm animals into academic buildings at the end of each school year. Choosing rather large animals as familiars to get them onto campus as pets and moving out of dormitories as soon as possible to start co-op housing with other majors to keep more and larger animals on campus.
